Supernatural

Supernatural is a show that I have recently started watching; currently I am on the 3rd season, and I must say that although the episodes follow a similar structure, the basic story line is very interesting. For a CW show, I am impressed with the character development of the 2 brother, Dean and Sam, Particularly Dean. The acting is very good, and has its elements of horror that will make you jump. There are very few, if any, plot holes; and is actually a very decent show to get into. The premise of the show follows two brothers, whose mother faced a horrific death when they were little, prompting their father, and subsequently the siblings, to begin ‘hunting’. So they hunt ghosts and other supernatural beings, however what is so powerful in this show is the relationship between the two. Dean is the eldest, and feels it is his responsibility to protect his younger brother, and unlike other teen shows, this one is not afraid to kill of main characters. The amount of empathy that is created for these two characters is overwhelming, and genuinely displays humanity at it’s best. For a show filled with Vampires, ghosts and demons, it is a show I would recommend watching – especially if you want a show that has a decent story line and characters!
